This anguish over contraception has missed the expiration date by a thousand years.
ReplyDeleteThe Bible/Torah is very, very old. God whacked Onan because there weren't a lot of people around. How're you going to settle the land w/o bodies? Not to mention life expectancy was a joke.
A good majority of U.S. Catholics practice BC/safe sex. They accept family planning by thinking of God in 21st century terms. So please, demand honest conservative politicians who don't feel the need signal shock that people like to fuck without constant nine-month interruptions.
People, even politicians, are entitled to their own views and religious practices. If he is simply discussing his views with an interviewer, I see no problem.

I vote republican, but I must sadly admit that neither of the two major parties even knows what individual liberty is anymore...
SF - The problem is that he isn't merely espousing his views as he would live his personal life...he's espousing his view in the tenor of what he would work towards for national policy.
