The stupid is strong in Harry Reid

Or perhaps it's political perfidy?
SEN. HARRY REID (D-NV): But what else should we expect? The decisions by the Supreme Court have left the American people with a status quo in which one side’s billionaires are pitted against the other side’s billionaires. Except one side doesn't have billionaires. We must undo the damage done by the Supreme Court’s recent campaign finance decisions.
Oh Harry, you silly goose.....don't be ashamed of your own billionaires.

  1. George Soros, Warren Buffett, that dude in CA pushing for climate change legislation - yeah, they've got some billionaires on that side for certain....Hell, even Bloomberg (who isn't technically a Democrat), with his anti-gun agenda, is a pretty reliable ally at times.

  2. I know at times that the richest people in Congress have been Democrats. Including now. So much for the claim of Republicans being the party of the rich. Objectively, this description fits Democrats better.

As for Reid and campaign finance reform, it is great for the country and individual liberties that the Citizens United ruling turned out as it did. It overturned a situation in which individual Americans were censored from speaking out on political issues.

Back to the point that his side "doesn't have billionaires". His side has Bill Gates on it... the top billionaire in the US and on the planet.. Is Reid really so dumb?
