Political Correctness.......

I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America,” Giuliani said during the dinner at the 21 Club, a former Prohibition-era speakeasy in midtown Manhattan. “He doesn’t love you. And he doesn’t love me. He wasn’t brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up through love of this country. - Rudy Giuliani
To imply that one 'knows' the unstated intentions, motivations, or "love of country"....illustrates an absurdly lazy appeal to emotion on Giuliani's behalf. But as he has a profession of being invited as an obligatory anti-Administration talking head.....it's all part of buttering his bread I suppose. He's a real-world version of an internet troll.

  1. A pitiful attempt at relevance from an increasingly pitiful man pretty much sums it up.

  2. Thank you, guys. It's so friggin' refreshing to see your reaction to this. On some of the conservative blogs these days (I don't consider this blog conservative, but more realist-libertarian), even the usually higher-end ones, posts and comments are regularly pumping out just the most loony vitriol and paranoid delusions. They're peddling the most petty and pointless narratives, that lead nowhere, and there's no talk whatsoever about actual policy or actual problems. Just attacks on Obama's character and morality, which from everything I've ever seen or heard, are fine. It's just so pointless.

John McCain said it right about Obama - "He's a decent family man, citizen." Disagreeing with Obama is fine, but thinking he's a malevolent traitor is a sign of schizophrenia.

  3. I think he was being too PC about it. As far as I'm concerned, it has been obvious to me that obama Hates America since 2007. I consider him and his administration as enemies of the USA.

    1. I'm not sure I know how to respond to that, other than it sounds similar to what some liberals say about the GOP/Bush Administration, etc.

    2. If you can't see a difference between what liberals say, then I find that you must not be paying very good intention.
Did Bush sick the IRS on his opposition. Did Bush take physical legislative action against any religious group like obama has hammered on the Christians? Did Bush call liberals domestic terrorists. Did Bush demonize the medai who pounded on him for 8+ years in office as a sitting president? How do you like being labeled a very potential domestic terrorist because of your service?? This is a long list. A very long list. You're not paying attention.

    3. On the contrary; I pay close attention to the politically correct agitprop that emanates from both parties. Giuliani's statement was an example of intellectually immature political theater that is unbecoming of his respectable career.

Blind partisans tend to not pay close attention to what their chosen side spews....and are compelled to conflate differing issues [actions v. speech....false sense of grievance, etc] to try and defend their point.

If you think the GOP is on your side, I would contend that it is not I who isn't paying attention.

    4. I never said "the GOP was on my side". Didn't even get near such a comment. What a ridiculous reply.
You're talking about political maneuvering. I'm talking about an entire administration that works against American's every day.

    5. I'd remind you that you interjected the GOP by attempting to contrast it the past with the current. An I AM talking about political [and politically correct] maneuvering...which is why I'm not sure why you felt the need to conflate it with a list of grievances of actions.....some legitimate, some not.

    1. I don't completely agree. They spend more on themselves and on advertising than other charities do, but I know some folks with WWP, and they do good work as well.

Other charities [Soldiers Angels, Cooking with the Troops, etc] spend more donations to the recipients, but also don't have as much nationwide reach.

  5. Kid, anyone who truly believes Obama "hates America" is a joke. You are a joke to any educated, intelligent citizen. A tragic joke, consistently voting against his own interests, completely uninformed, silly and dumb, a sycophant of those who hold you in no regard at all. And you think Obama "hates America?" Well, I think you're dumb.

  6. While I probably will not agree that Kid "votes against his own interest", Jersey... you have nailed it on the "Obama Hates America" stuff in your comments here.

  7. Unfortunately all of the supposed offenses Kid believes the Obama admin to be guilty of never acutually happened. As for the former bush admin, I wouldn't say those folks hate America, only most of the people inhabitating it.

  8. I don't always agree with Joe Biden but when characterized Giuliani's constantly droning message as, "a noun, a verb, and 9/11", he pretty much nailed it.
