    I had never noticed before, but the little green Army men of my youth had M-1s & Thompson .45s, but now they've been updated to M-16s.

      I had to search my memory, but as I was born during Vietnam, I think I had the M-16 Army Men. Most of them died cruel deaths by flame and firecracker, mind you.

      Sort of ironic that I would play with little green Army Men, then torture and kill them....only to spend well over half of my life serving in, or supporting green Army Men.

      Except Steve. Everybody hated Steve.
