I've seen documentaries on sniper training and know this is no easy profession, not in the least.
ReplyDeleteIt was the hardest school I attended, pitting both physical and mental challenges....but dame rewarding. I thin I can still figure ballistics for MOA, though I haven't professionally been behind a long gun in 15 years.

ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting piece, thank you for giving me the link. While I agree that competitive sports, I might also see the value in having the service academies spar with on another, but intramurally. Having three academies involved in the NCAA takes too much money and resources from the cadre and the players. If they wanted to play college football, they could have even more easily, attended a civilian school.
