Blasts from my past

Came across a few photos while going through some 'I love me boxes'. For PERSEC reasons, I generally don't post identifying photos of myself, but I think I can get around it this time.

  1. I've seen documentaries on sniper training and know this is no easy profession, not in the least.

    1. It was the hardest school I attended, pitting both physical and mental challenges....but dame rewarding. I thin I can still figure ballistics for MOA, though I haven't professionally been behind a long gun in 15 years.

  2. Looks like the old M-40s. Is that Benning in the background? Doesn't look so. Not A P Hill either.

    1. That's an interesting piece, thank you for giving me the link. While I agree that competitive sports, I might also see the value in having the service academies spar with on another, but intramurally. Having three academies involved in the NCAA takes too much money and resources from the cadre and the players. If they wanted to play college football, they could have even more easily, attended a civilian school.
