I remember trying to copy an mp3 to my iPhone 2 in order to use it like an mp3 player. Tried all morning, found nothing but obstructions. iTunes was terribly obtuse and hard to use. Never could get it to work.
I was able before, and able since to do the same task on a very cheap mp3 player (a variety of them) all the way up to very expensive Android phones. All taking less than a minute, and very intuitive.
I share your pain; I had a Zune prior to my iPod, and it was just as bad. Prior to that, I had some other off brand....where all I had to do was drag and drop through Windows Explorer.
I get torrents and have imported them into to iTunes, but it's been awhile. On a phone, I can imagine it's worse.
Is it possible to get this for free without going through iTunes hell?
ReplyDeleteThis is off the record...but I've heard that there is a place one can find music torrents...something about a "Bay" with "Pirates" or somesuch....
DeleteBeyond that..I don't think so.
I know that, I just meant a way to avoid Apple's terrible products.
