  3. I wish this were just a cruel April Fool's prank, but if you peruse the list of banned components on Feinstein's AWB....components that are cosmetic and/or ergonomic, and add nothing to the functionality and lethaility of the weapon....you'll see thumbhole stock listed.

But then again, this "logic" comes from the crowd that calls an AR15 platform a "high-powered, rapid-fire, military-style 'assault weapon'".

I just harken back to the progenitor of the "assault weapon" myth, VPC's Josh Sugarman in 1989:

"Assault weapons... are a new topic. The weapons' menacing looks, coupled with the public's confusion over fully-automatic machine guns versus semi-automatic assault weapons — anything that looks like a machine gun is assumed to be a machine gun — can only increase the chance of public support for restrictions on these weapons."

Not the direct quote but same statement
"criminals will lay down their guns when they see no one else has one"

    1. Also as idiotic as when Rep Sheila Jackson-Lee said “Don’t condemn the gangbangers, they’ve got guns that are trafficked — that are not enforced, that are straw purchased and they come into places even that have strong gun laws.”

Yep...don't blame the criminals, it's all the fault of inanimate objects.....
