And so it begins.......?

Africa Confirms 3rd Ebola Victims Rises From The Dead, Releases Picture of 1st “Ebola Zombie”

Fear and panic is spreading in Nimba County, an African community where dead Ebola patients have reportedly “resurrected” and roams around among the living. The victims were allegedly women in their 40s and 60s who was thought to have died from the virus in Liberia’s Nimba County.

OK, so the source isn't exactly the AP, and the story remains unconfirmed by any reputable source.

But remember this....the beginning of nearly every Zombie Apocalypse/Plague/SHTF book or movie....always has the CDC saying something like: "The bottom line here is that I have no doubt that we will control this importation, or this case of Ebola, so that it does not spread widely in this country. It is certainly possible that someone who had contact with this individual could develop Ebola in the coming weeks. But there is no doubt in my mind that we will stop it here."

  1. ABC News had a video of the phenomenon. I don't Bremen the URL but a quick google search should bring it up.

There are viruses that produce zombie-style behavior in mice and rats. It was only a matter of time to see a virus that does this to us.

  4. The left (not to mention, the media) always seem to need something to freak out about; global cooling, the bird flu, Y2K, the "hole" in the ozone layer, global warming, etc. (biodiversity, that's the next one) and any excuse possible to justify their own existence.......Me - I say, bring on the zombies!

    1. Agreed. Many people forget that Zombies have a biodegradable lifespan. The planet needs a good housecleaning.....

  5. Suddenly "the left" is freaking out about zombies? That's curious.

Gonna be something when Ebola hits Haiti.

But this agreement that the left needs "something to freak out about" is curious coming from someone whose identity is so wrapped up in firearms and the heightened alert for the U.N. blue helmets coming to take them.
For all I know, Will, is one of those composed right wingers who thinks that Common Core and political correctness are going to turn his kids homo.

Leftists freaked out over Y2K? Do you have us confused with "Talent on Loan from Synthetic Morphine" Limbaugh?

Oh well, just more proof that dialog is impossible. It is intensely sad ... and dangerous.

    1. a) I don't own a gun. b) I strongly support gay rights. And c) I totally agree that there are hard-core idiots on the right as well (Limbaugh for one). Wow, 3 strawmen in less than a hundred words - impressive.

    2. Dialogue is impossible.....mostly due to the fact that our media has largely divided itself into two camps.....instead of being a check on State power.

Everything is political theater....and it will ultimately be the downfall of our nation.

    3. It sounds like Ducky has divided us into 2 camps as well.

  6. "Men now coolly ventured on what they had formerly done in a corner, and not just as they pleased, seeing the rapid transitions produced by persons in prosperity suddenly dying and those who before had nothing succeeding to their property. So they resolved to spend quickly and enjoy themselves, regarding their lives and riches as alike things of a day. Perseverance in what men called honor was popular with none, it was so uncertain whether they would be spared to attain the object; but it was settled that present enjoyment, and all that contributed to it, was both honorable and useful. Fear of gods or law of man there was none to restrain them."

    1. I would argue that WND is not in any sense Conservative...but that's primarily because I don't view the GOP as such, writ large.

I didn't see these comments until now; for some reason, Ducky's posts don't send me an e-mail notice like everyone else.
