She may have a point...backward as it is. If this country was more conservative with how it approached social issues and more importantly "paying" for those social issues...we'd be far more "fiscally" responsible that we are today.
But...I don't think she meant that...I am just saying.
Very possible I may have misinterpreted her brief statement. I don't think I did....but it's certainly possible.
For the record, I don't lump social issues that deal with individual liberty in with social issues that deal with monetary entitlements. I only surmised at which subset she was speaking about.
